Human Designs was founded by Eric Ferraco, CPO, in 1990. The company began in Long Beach, California and quickly grew to three locations by 1995.  Ron Merritt, CPO joined Human Designs in 1997.  Human Designs is still privately owned by Eric and Ron.  Our locations enable us to provide service to the Southern California region, from the San Gabriel Valley, through the South Bay and greater Long Beach area, to all of Orange County. At its inception, it was decided to have all fabrication done in house in order to directly influence and maintain quality assurance. Our highly skilled prosthetic and orthotic practitioners provide patient care, utilizing their combined experience of 70 years. All of our facilities are certified by the American Board for Certification (ABC) and are staffed with ABC-Certified practitioners.  Providing outstanding service and products is the cornerstone of Human Designs' success.
