Amputee Coalition of America, ACA
The ACA is a non-profit organization working to bring resources and support to amputees, family members, support groups, and healthcare professionals who provide rehabilitative care. |
Western Amputee Golf Association
The WAGA exists to encourage all amputees, whether young or old, recreational or competitive, to enjoy the camaraderie that golf offers. They sponsor the annual Southern California Amputee Golf Tournament, which is currently in its twenty-eighth year. The tournament allows all amputees, especially recent amputees, to enhance their self esteem, mainstream with others and engage in an activity where their physical handicap doesn't prevent them from enjoying the outdoors. The tournament has become one of the most successful amputee golf tournaments in the country. |
Challenged Athlete Foundation
CAF was established in 1997 as a non-profit organization created to assist physically challenged athletes with achieving their athletic goals. CAF recognizes the athletic ability of people with disabilities and supports these efforts by providing grants for training, competition and equipment needs. CAF has proudly assisted over 300 athletes, in the sport of their choice, get to the Paralympic Games. |
Disabled Sports USA
DS/USA is a national non-profit educational organization, providing sports and recreational services to children and adults with physical disabilities. DS/USA serves over 60,000 people annually, through a nationwide network of 80 community-based chapters in 34 states. |
